I saw somewhere Brands liked him. It looks like w are being more ruthless, which I like.

As for Ouzounidis yes, my thoughts too. Looks a powerful lad, which ultimately was always a concern I had with Feeney. Interesting how physicality is so important.

As for Markelo, yes getting him on loan, seeing how he does and taking it from there may be what we do.

....I agree, we’ve too many that we take the easy option and give contracts to. There appears a shift in strategy, if they’re not ready for the first team then move them on.

The rewards in football are so great but it’s also cruel for the vast majority. Saying that, anybody who has had a professional contract at Everton should have the foundation of a decent financial future, especially if they secure a job regardless of the level.

Being 6'3 and athletic in centre midfield gives players alot more mobility and power than a 5'9 player...they can just bounce off them.

Its an advantage.
