There was a Hispanic forward player who really impressed me when City beat our U23s in the televised game during the run in. Can't recall his name but he was small stature but very tricky. Was that this Herrera kid.

No pal he's on loan at the New York club. Think who you're taking about will either be Brahim Diaz or Paulo Fernandes.

Italy just gone through in their quarter final. 3-2 after extra time. Only caught the last 15 mins of extra time but sounded like a boss game. Another close match though.

Dowell, Lookman and Kenny starting for England. DCL loses his place to Armstrong which I was sort of expecting. I think Mexico like to control the ball so England will be looking to counter quickly, and Armstong is electric.

Someone needs to tell these commentators that the reason the ref talks to players committing a foul in the area before a corner is taken rather than just giving a foul is because that's what the law says, it's not the ref just choosing to do it that way.

Solanke is really very ordinary.
It is only when DCL isn't playing that you can see what he brings to this team...first sub on and definitely should have started.

he gets some stick on this forum but at least he can hold on to the ball to give the team something to build around.

Not that bothered about it but its harsh on the rest of the team with the manager going with the bigger name player over actual talent in a game as important as this to the lads in the squad. DCL is the better player in better form yet is dropped because Solanke played/s for Chelsea/Liverpool
