Everton Youth Teams Thread

...a big positive about his miss today was that the RB was in the penalty area in open play during injury time. Shades of Coleman perhaps.
Indeed, both our full backs in the pen area for that move. Connolly doesn't have the same attacking drive with the ball tjat Kenny does, but every match he'll appear in good positions inside the penalty box, got booked for it on one occasion. Both Kenny 20, and Connolly 19 are comparatively young for full backs still plenty of development you would hope. I wonder if they'll play the speedier Kyle Walker-Peters at full back in the next game, though you have to say that defensively England have been ok , apart from the obvious o.g.At this type of tournament you'll get lots of tricky, speedy players running at you and getting past , 1 goal against in two games is a nice stat.

I think speed and tricks will be the name of the game for South Korea next. Couple of Barcelona prodigies in the team.

..I actually like the big CB who scored the atrocious own goal. I think he might be Canadian and went on loan to Brighton in January. He's a bit raw but he's some athlete.

...midday on Friday I think. Struggle to watch that for me as I'll be waiting for a flight at that time. Hopefully they will have done enough to go through. Argentina lost to Korea meaning they are probably out, and you would hope they get something from the Guinea game.

A draw should be enough vs Korea but I'm expecting a tough game. I'll still be a thing work when it's on but will post updates here I get off Google.
