Unfortunately ,when you look at Gomez you can see why players need to move from clubs at a lower level of competition.
Gomez has the potential to be a top class player, but his control,positioning and judgement are suspect at the moment. He needs to be playing with and against better players every day and unfortunately that won't happen at Charlton.

I expect that is the reason that Galloway moved to Everton and also why lots of young players move to bigger clubs , even though it is harder to get established at big premiership clubs.

We have signed a 15 year old kid from Northampton Town, Fraser Hornby, hopefully he will train well and if he stays on track we may see him in the first team one day.

.....yep, the thing I noticed in the few clips I've seen is that he looks very swift. Looking forward to seeing Connolly's brace, I'm sure there will be a You Tube of the goals.

...thanks a lot for that, Bungle. Love to see full backs scoring from open play, it takes such willpower and stamina to get into the opposition box when the ball breaks down the other wing. 9 times out of 10 all of that effort is nugatory. It can't be a coincidence ours are increasingly doing it at all levels.

Yeah good to see him steaming forward and getting into the box a bit, even fairly late in the game when he gets his second he's the furthest one forward so he's obviously a fairly confident lad, hopefully he and a few others in different age groups progress through to the first team in years to come, would be great to have a core of first team players that have come through our own academy.

Kenny, oddly playing in midfield rather than as a full back, made a gorgeous pass at ~15 sec to almost get a goal for Armstrong/Solanke as well.

Garbutt just completed 90 mins for Eng Under 21's in a 3-0 win over Moldova.
