Everton Youth Teams Thread

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on John Lundstram. If he doesn't go out in loan, is he good for 10 games or so for us this year? Seems a good prospect.

He's definitely not ready.
Should be out on loan with immediate recall clause.
He's still very young, but clearly talented, let him go and make a lower league team tick for a season. Get a bit of that mental fortitude needed for his position by playing in actual competitive games.

agreed.
He said in an interview with evertonTv he would like to go out on loan to a championship club now (he has already done league 1).

Viertelfinale 2 (10.00 Uhr): Bayern München – Red Bull Salzburg
Viertelfinale 3 (11.05 Uhr): Manchester City – Bilbao
Viertelfinale 4 (11.05 Uhr): Red Bull Brasil – Red Bull New York

Semifinale 1 (Sieger der Viertelfinale 1 und 2) 16.05 Uhr
Semifinale 2 (Sieger der Viertelfinale 3 und 4) 17.10 Uhr

Quarters/Semis on Friday
Final on Saturday

-------------------------------------

Red Bull Salzburg - Everton FC 0:2 (0:0). Goals: Evans, Davies. The compact Englishman hardly had any opportunities. In addition, the Everton boys were physically very strong.

Hellas Verona - Everton FC 1:2 (1:0). Goals: Pellacani; Virtanen 2. Everton dominated the game, but the Italians were improving. Grabbing a deserved equalizer but the English held on at the end.

Red Bull website doesn't have much in the way of "reports" other than 1 sentence lol

Nice one Swiss!

Next Gen Series that we were interested in has been canned for this season due to lack of funding.

Or rather, UEFAs own u19 Champions League has caught them out and the big boys haven't shown interest in the Next Gen Series.

Hard to raise sponsorship income when your biggest names all pull out :(

I had a feeling this would happen.

u18s beat them 2-1 (Ryan Ledson, Joe Williams)
u16s beat them 8-0

Russell Griffiths, Gethin Jones, Curtis Langton (C), James Graham, Jordan Thorniley
Joe Williams, Harry Charsley, Ryan Ledson, Oliver Shannon
Courtney Duffus, Calum Dyson

Liverpool up next at Kirkby!

That looks a young side swisso. How is jones getting on. Is rated by some of the others who watch the academy on here.

Wouldn't say it was that young really, it's first and second year scholars, there's 14 first years so the average age of the U18s will lean more towards the 16 year olds than the 17/18 year olds :)

I like Jones, should be a centre mid really but is often played on the wing.
