If the biggest gripe is we 'held back' two players we got 50 million for then he didn't do too badly. Gordon at 17/18 was 2 stone soaking wet he might well have been too young, whilst opting for a Broadhead or Hornby is hardly a heinous crime.

But him playing Conor Grant didn't hold anyone back. Unless you think Dennis Adeniran or Liam Walsh could've made it? As for the loans we were still guilty of that last season with Cannon, Price and Mills. This year Astley is the same.

Walsh is in the championship and has horrendous luck with injuries, where’s grant and hennen these days?

You’re obviously an unsworth fan or maybe you’re related to Denise.

He played Pennington at 26. Jose Baxter came back to the club as a sympathy vote and unsworth even played him before Gordon and a number of others.

Harry charsley left the club and then couldn’t find a club, cane back and unsworth put him back in the team.

Maybe most of these 17/18yr olds weren’t good enough. But neither were the 22/23yr olds he was playing most weeks . I’d imagine most of these are in League 2 and lower. It’s called development football for a reason
