It wasn't pretty. Full credit to Wigan's shot-blocking - they were like the New Jersey Devils out there.

First game of the year that Cahill mattered. But concerned about Pienaar - still Johnny Hustle but seems to have reverted to his habit of unforced giveaways.

Nevertheless, three points. Saha is a new man.

And, oh yeah - comin' through for the old man -

Jimmy Mack, when are ya' comin' back?

Defo a pen. Not sure why Wigan even bothered to defend him the way we were finishing though.

Think the upset of the day was when Thomas went off limping.

Who taught Tony how to cross?

He's always had a nice cross. Davey is letting him go forward alot more now to support the attack as well. He's getting a goal or two this year and had a chance when he was all alone in the 1st half right in front of the goal mouth unfortunately the ball sailed over his head.

I thought it was funny the board went down after someone posted that people troll fansites looking for posts about links to internet feeds. I thought the FA shut us down.

Heart was in my mouth as well mate! I think it was because we scored and probably crashed the site when we all tried posting GOAL at the same time!
It was down for me on and off all game. I suppose Danny would have to tell us the in and outs of why it crashed at particular times, but my best guess is that we overload at certain times during a game.

Much much better. We played it on the ground like we always can, a bit shaky at the back but that will be sorted out soon. Rodwell looked like a tornado when he ran with the ball and looked like an established class act.

There was some good performances today, Hibbert was good especially attacking, he's improved...he must be practicing...Neville also had a good performance, and Cahill actually looked good - for arguably the first time this season....coincidentally when he was playing UPFRONT.

I love Rodwell though...he's just so cool on the ball, qualities of a holding midfielder, spreading the ball around the park, but not afraid to take on players or shoot...He's great :D

I only hope its Osman who is replaced, and not Rodwell when Arteta comes back.
