Poor first half. Our set-pieces were awful. Why o why does a left-footed player take a free-kick from the left? Rodwell our best man so far.

Thought our set pieces were the best-2nd best in the prem last year. Not sure why we are so inept this year. Teams like Wigan are going to kick the crap out of us which will continue of neverending cycle of injuries if we dont sort it out.

Wigan nullifying our good attacks by taking yellows for the team.
They can not go on another 45 mins in that fashion and finish with 11 men. Something gives.

If the share of play remains the same, we will score one or two.
Preferably two as I can see us letting a scrappy one in!

Osman is not doing much and he is lacking height, I think I seen Neville and Hibbert doing all the defensive work on the right, he just don't know what he is doing?

I think we need some changes we seem to be lacking bit of height and speed, I would suggest Neville move to RB, switch Pienaar to the right, replace Hibbert with Fellaini and replace Osman with Billy.

This should add some creativity on the right, while adding height to the middle and more pace on the left.

Theyre kicking lumps out of us but have a few key defensive player on yellow for the second half.

We've been by far the better team but just cant cut open enough chances up front.

But even w/o Arteta we were decent last year. I guess losing Lescott hurts too (not sure how good Distin is on corners/free kicks). We may need a guy like Donovan more than I thought.

True that. Might be down to the fact that we've not gotten our act together yet. Hopefully we will when Distin and Bilyaletdinov have gotten into the squad properly so all know what to do.
