Everton vs Sigma Olomouc - Europa League Play Off

Eh?

I mean 400 is not a lot at all, is there a reason (maybe because we have a bigger fan base than Aberdeen) that we would get more tickets?

A little joke off the earlier post that the Aberdeen fans got gassed and mugged. In reality, 400 tickets is utterly useless. If true, they should get 400 at Goodison in exchange.

Our ground has 3 times the capacity of theirs, and they will probably get the equivalent of 400 to 12000 in ours.

If they actually fill 11,600, then I can understand why we would only get 400, but from the videos of the fans on youtube, it didn't seem to me they did.

But if they don't, why didn't Aberdeen get more?

Capacity at Andruv Stadion is now around 10,000 as one of the stands has been demolished. They will be building a new stand in its place.

The away section holds 461, and it is surrounded by a fence. I think for European games, away fans can get a maximum of 5%? However, I'm not sure.

I suspect this game will sellout, even though Sigma has set prices at 500kc for covered and 400kc for uncovered. Normal league games are 100kc and 70kc. Everton are a well known English club, and it isn't so often that Sigma hosts this kind of opposition. The Aberdeen game had an attendace of 7500 (or so), and the recent game against Ostrava was over 8,000.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) I was thinking about going to Everton, but I probably won't. I suspect Sigma might take 100-200 fans (at the most) to the game.

One final note, I lived in Leicester for two years so I still support the Foxes ;)

So d'you reckon we'll only get 400 odd?

Hard to say, I suppose they could extend the away section for a few hundred more seats, and make a temporary fence.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if you only get the 450.

No, only against teams such as Slavia, Ostrava, Sparta and perhaps Brno. Some people here like to stay home and watch the Premier League, Bundesliga etc instead of going to local games.

I fully expect the game against Everton to sellout.

Also, for those that are coming to Olomouc, it is best to stay on the side of caution. There were some problems with Sigma 'fans' going after Aberdeen supporters, and the media here has really come down hard on the violence.

However, there is a possiblity that fans/hooligans from Banik Ostrava and their friends from Poland could show up.

There's going to be murder isn't there lid?

If any of your fans throw anything at me I'm gonna go in there an KAPOOOOW them all.

Olomouc over the past few years hasn't had a hooligan reputation. Last night against Aberdeen, most of the people causing problems were 16-20. The real thing to be aware of is if the Banik/Polish supporters show up.

With all that being said, Olomouc is a great little city. Not many tourists have discovered it yet, and there are many nice pubs with cheap beer :)

Here is a picture of the away section at Andruv Stadion:

Chances of that?

Jesus, that's small.
