They haven’t won away from home yet this season. And Barnes is in pretty good form currently. Need defence to be right on it. Fortunately missing Gordon so pace wise, it’s not as much of a concern if JOB is starting at RB. And hopefully they are tested tonight and are tired.

Important game for us. A win really sets us up going into December.

…Barnes is still rapid and is certainly a greater goal threat.

Biggest challenge is clearly who replaces Gueye. A couple of thoughts; don’t change two positions when you can change one, and who do we have who can live with the physicality of Joelinton.

For those reasons, I expect Iroegbunam to start. What an opportunity it’ll be for him to earn a run of games but he’ll have to really apply himself and play with consistency throughout the game.

If I was Moyes I’d give a simple instruction, ‘get the better of Joelinton’.

Tim is really maturing as a player. I don't have any worries about putting him straight in, in place of Gana. Another excellent cameo last night at RB/RWB shows his versatility, too.

Needs to be a bit cuter in his physical duels though. An early yellow and Joelinton could run riot.

Think he's travelled to Marseille with them for tonight so could well be playing on Sat

Think our biggest problem on Sat is the size of the squad that’s gonna be available to Moyesy. Tim’s been doing pretty well of late and it will be good to see him start, but his style of play means he’s always shattered after 60-70 mins, the same with Ndiaye. Without the likes of Gana and Rohl, we’re going to lack replacements who can put in a similar defensive shift. We will need the likes of Charly and Dwight/Dibling to really contribute off the bench. Would’ve been great to have Armstrong as an option.
