I wouldn't be so sure, we play in a residential area that's quite old, lots of fans walk through park, branches get blown down in much better weather than what's expected on Saturday. I wouldn't get so confident Matty, branches getting blown down on Queens Drive, add to that possible motorway closures. I think it's highly likely to be called off.

49 mph winds forecast. Virgin van Djik crumpled under a strong North Eastern breeze once in a Derby so I reckon they'll be pushing for a postponement. Especially when El Dychio's free scoring blues are in such a rich vein of form.

Games do get called off for wind...

Remember Ric Wee match against Crystal Palace under Martinez when we looked like getting fourth. Called off a few hours before kickoff, we of course lost the rearranged game 3-1 and missed out to Arsenal.

The match did get called off against Palace due to wind. As has been said due to debris falling from surrounding buildings that are now 10 years older. Nearly 70mph winds forecast. If that actually occurs it will be off. I hope it is too. They are at the top of their game. It wont be rescheduled this year so we could be stronger after the window. Beating a terrible Wolves side hasnt convinced me that we ll get anything on Saturday. So i ll settle for off.
