Good fight back in the second half and no shame losing on penalties. No time to feel too disheartened another tough game on Saturday, but if we show the same fight we showed tonight well beat Arsenal. The league with our current position in it is more important to be honest.

This. People applauding that they actually did what is the absolute minimum, i.e give everything, for 45 min does my head in. The players will go home and forget about it, they couldn´t care less. Probably happy to be rid of the extra games. Loser players, loser club, loser fans.

This. A bare minimum in any game of football, particularly a home cup tie, is effort, alertness and commitment for 90 minutes.

Horribly disappointing but we showed a lot of heart and fight again tonight. Positives to take from it.

Tbh what are the positives exactly? That the players decided to try a leg for 45 minutes? Don´t you think the fact that they played like they´d been on the piss for the 1st half overrides it? AND the fact the they LOST ANOTHER MATCH at home.

Finished:
Baines, Coleman, Keane, (Walcott, Delph)

Woeful:
Davies, Iwobi

Just not good enough:
Holgate, Calvert-Lewin, Mina, Bernard (Sigurdsson, Schneiderlin, Tosun)

Stealing a wage:
Sandro, Martina, Niasse, Bolasie, Stekelenberg

What a task Ancelotti has on his hands. We are full - absolutely chock full - of useless or finished players.

Another clueless post by a person who doesn't understand football.

Oh and look at the other result plastered all over the sports pages, no not Man City. What a surprise. Christ sake. Absolutely eff this crap.

All very well making a heroic comeback but there goes yet another pot just because of utter horsecrap penalty taking.

shambolic first half cost us there, if we bothered to try and play football instead of sitting off and just goofing it we’d have not been bossed that first 45

It´s 24 years since we´ve seen our team lift a trophy. There´s a lot of shame in that.
