He was outstanding today, utterly brilliant performance. What a change in the lad. Can't argue with anyone who picked gana either but keane, take a bow son. Superb.
It was good to see an unchanged team for once, despite DCL being disappointing. Imo the unchanged line-up, especially an unchanged defence, gets consistency in performances. Keane has benefited from this. I thought he looked good in the Arsenal game too. Gave their main striker nothing today and played a lot of clever passes forward. Hope he continues this form.

Ramdom thoughts
Pickford save came at a crucial time
1-1 then and the whole dynamic of the game changes
Digne was class , seeet left foot and some fabulous crosses
Kenny good going forward , some nice crosses but caught out positionally on a couple of occasions
Zouma was strong brave and steady Keane has his best game for us so far , had Mitrovich in his pocket and played some lovely balls out of defence
Gana did what he does best , covered harried tackles and won possession , he shouldn’t be asked to carry the ball forward
Davies was average , too many stray passes but did a lot of work
Siggy was immense in the second half and as was alluded to earlier great mental strength to score two after the penalty miss
Walcott was always a threat and the cross for Tosuns goal was pure class
DCL ineffective as usual
Ricarlison was kicked pulled and hacked from start to finish but showed real patience and was a constant threat
Tosun needed that goal so hopefully he kicks on
Amazed Bernard didn’t start
He has skill , awareness and one of the few real footballing brains in the team
He could be massive for us , just a matter of finding where to play him
With Coleman Mina Gomes plus possibly Bernard to go into the starting 11 things are looking up

One final point , could all those who had there first set of dry sheets for the season yesterday please raise your hands lol

Please note folks, MotM voting for the win over Fulham closes at 5.06pm on Tuesday, so don't delay... vote, vote, vote ;)

Needed a win and a clean sheet.

Got a win and a clean sheet.

Pleased for Gylfi that the penalty miss didn’t let his head go.

...it is funny how we don’t get any of the what I call ‘after a defeat’ threads when we win a game. No thread about unbalanced midfield, no thread about lack of a striker or about playing Richarlison at CF.

Strange how folk don’t pick up on such things when we win.

We have a get together in Mod Central and celebrate with port and cigars mate. Makes our life so much quieter.

Sorry. Calvert-Lewin was still mostly crap and I’d still like to see Richarlison up top with Bernard starting. I don’t do threads though.

I might be wrong here, but hasn't the manager said that Richarlison's preferred position is on the left and cutting in? If so why would playing him out of position instead of Tosun (or DCL) be an improvement? Fair enough play Bernard, but don't push Richarlison out of position to accomodate him, rather build the team according to the strengths on offer.
