Zouma for me today but, to be honest, I found it very hard choosing today as so many of our lads were so good.
Based on the evidence of today and last week, Marco is definitely moving us in the right direction.

Siggy showing us the class we paid the big bucks for, Richie oozing class but tiring in the second half,Gueye consistent throughout and special mention for Keane, he is much improved this season playing with more confidence and showing bravery coming back from his injury so quickly and getting stuck right in.
Saturday day night's are so much better with 3 points in the bag.

The Iceman passes the ball into the net, one of my old football coaches would be proud,he used to tell us,"You don't have to burst the net, pass it in":)Cheers Andy mate!!

Same as last week went with Digne for being tenacious in defence and for the consistent quality of his crosses, he has slotted straight in brilliantly.
Again it was a game of two very different performances but the green shoots are just beginning to show.

Made up for the goalscorers they both needed a boost, Siggy after the miss and Tosun just needed to score..... period.
We won AND we kept a clean sheet

One clear winner today as he was at the heart of everything, and his engine is immense. He broke up opposition play, covered every blade of grass more than once, drove us forward and had a decisive hand in two of the goals. Idrissa Gana Gueye.
Sigurdsson was not far off....as usual he worked his backside off closing down, chasing and harrying. His penalty miss would have jolted players with weaker mental strength, but with him it drove him on. His two strikes were technically excellent, the first especially.
Both full backs were great today both defensively and offensively, whilst Zouma and Keane individually played well. The back line as a unit still needs work as two or three times today we were very open. Richarlison came in for a lot of over-physical attention today, but credit to the lad in that he dealt with it and frightened them every time he had the ball.
Thought DCL struggled today....no real service but also his first touch wasn’t great.

Silva is starting to have an influence on the team and how it plays....you can see the players are starting to look fitter and that they are grasping his style of play. It’s a big change from the Neanderthal approach of last season which must have traumatised the players as much as it did the supporters.

bernard for me, him down the left wallcott down the right provide the balls into the box for richarlison, tosun and mina..good times ahead :)
