Less then 48 hours to our last 3pm kick off at Goodison until after Christmass, and with only four games left until the World Cup now, the visit of Palace on Saturday has to be a special one, maybe not as big as last seasons visit in the final stages of the season, but regardless its a must win game, hopfully followed by a full on pitch invasion!

Possible line ups Palace:
Vicente Guaita
Joel Ward, Marc Guéhi, Tyrick Mitchell, Joachim Andersen
Oumar Doucouré, Eberechi Eze, Jeffrey Schlupp, Jordan Ayew
Odsonne Édouard, Wilfried Zaha

Everton
Pickford
Coleman, Tarkowski, Coady, Myko
Iwobi, Gueye Onana,
Gordon, DCL, Gray

Form guide last 6 games
Everton
D 0-0, W 1-0, W 2-1, L 2-1, L 2-0, L 1-0
Palace
D 1-1, D 0-0, L 2-1, W 2-1, D 0-0, W 2-1

It's not a 'must win' cause we're so early n the season. But it certainly feels like it is.
To be honest mate i think every game is a must win, but Palace at Goodison should always be 3 points, but i do think we have to climb a few places at least before that long WC stopage, we dont want to be stuck for a few weeks knowing we have a low league placing. Also zero wins in 4 would be harsh

Palace have 11 points from their 5 games against bottom half teams. They're basically a good bad team. They're going to clean up all the bad teams and never beat anyone else. Which is bad news for us.

Lampard needs to change tactics and some personnel. Another loss with one shot on target, and he will be getting some serious pressure. Let's hope he's got a new plan.

1-1 for me, Viera will have them right up for it after last season here. If we concede first it will be difficult to get anything then.

Starting fullbacks cannot be Coleman and Mykolenko again, they offer us absolutely nothing in possession.

Our wide attackers have been getting a lot of flack but in fairness to them there's never the option of the overlap with Coleman/Mykolenko and it takes out any fluidity from our attacks, we haven't stretched any defence in these past 3 games.

We've got midfielders now who have the legs and are capable of covering for full backs to properly get down the line.

Lampard needs to make some positive and proactive changes and get the entire team pushed further up the field and take the game to the opposition.
