just finished the second half. feel real bad for stones
Hibbert was giving him shocking passes all half, he'd wait wait wait, turn back then pass to stones while the opposition were pretty much on him by then. And he was never available to receive a pass, so stones had to try run it out

what sageyefc has said ^

playing hibbo is essentially taking a player out of the game when it's comes to ball retention. getting real sick of him now and osmans headers!

I went the match and where i sat was one of the best seats if you went specifically to watch him (I didn't), he would either give the ball to Mcgeady in a bad position, lose it or pass back to the keeper worse part is he was pretty awful defensively. It's sad cause he is such a likeable guy but I think he is probably finished, can't feel bad for him though the things i'd do to play 260 premier league games for Everton.

watching the second half was more promising. I actually think Browning and Duffy will make as decent squad players, and would rather have Stones than Hibbert

just me who thought Mcgeady had good game then?

He is a quality player, love a classic winger type and had great game especially later on but it would be nice if he kept it simple so his tricks become more effective and less obvious to defenders..

The game against Porto he was very poor, however I even thought he had a good first half in this game as well as the second except for going missing in parts of it. people seem to forget how much Mirallas and any wide player loses the ball though. It's the hardest area of the park to keep possession without just playing a simple pass back, he was one of our better players today some of his tricks and a fancy flick caused us to lose possession unnecessarily today though but his performance was very encouraging
