He was given the assist. Sometimes people just make things up

Barkley looked increasingly sharp as the game went on.

yeah, he's not quite ready to drop back to centre mid based on last two games, but that's ookay, we have 4 great candidates there. imagine playing a 4-3-3 with mccarthy, barkley and besic for the next 10 years though.

naismith and osman will only be barkley's backup for ACM and rightly so.

Also Barkely's poor assist rate has just as much to do with other players poor finishing. Still an area Barkely needs to work on
