Yup...I did to. But the difference this time was the manager reacted and changed it, rather than standing on the touchline with his arms crossed looking cool.

I remember vividly that West Ham game and I switched off before the end as it was obvious what would happen. And it did.

Gave them a chance today. And was not let down.

Everton were not perfect today, way off in fact, but winning is winning.

This was a great tactical battle between the two managers as the score suggests. Full credit to Koeman for surprising all with his selection and shape at the start and then to Eddie Howe for changing his at half time and back to Koeman for reacting and making changes like 5 at back. A game for purists that.

Perfectly understandable. But it was a test passed.
We've maybe got less of the flair that we had under the previous regime, but we've certainly got a great deal more steel.

Remember when we dropped 14 points from winning positions in a single season?

Even though I was fuming I thought of how Howe tactically out thought Klopp from a seemingly unasaleable lead to mastermind a 4-3 win and was concerned he might turn this game too.

But Koeman changed the shape and we pulled clear again.

A very good battle today, though at 3-2 it was very nerve wracking!

Thought we were full of flair today to be fair. Lookman was pulling pants down everywhere. lol

Pace, power, great technique, yeah if we are being picky, only us,only Everton would have let them back in at 3-2(great stop by Joel at that point too)but I think the last few games we are beginning to see Koemans ethos taking place at Goodison, made up:)

Southampton game I took my nephew for his first match experience. Brilliant day.

Today, I took my dad, in his 60's, to his first game. His interest in football/everton has grown over the last two years, watching games on tv with me etc and following the results.

It is safe to say, this absolute rollercoaster of a game was fantastic and I will savour this experience and bonding with my dad for a long time, as I did and am with my nephew.
