It’s getting harder to be positive, but I will give it a go, 1 more point on the board. got 28 now, only need 12 more to get to 40 points, we have 14 more games to play, so that’s either; 4 wins and 10 defeats or 12 draws and 2 defeats!

I don’t know which is worse :pint2:(n):red::hayee:.
I just want us to get to 40 points, then the season will be officially over

I think I'm more depressed now, thanks mate

What’s worrying it’s early days for Walcott and Tosun and bolaise coming back into the side, but that pace and outlet we lacked when big sam first come in is actually there now. Those 3 will take time to gel/click but today I didn’t see any real desire to get the ball down and get it wide and give Tosun some decent service. Leicester and Arsenal will be interesting, both sides have pace upfront, wonder if we go at Leicester and have a go or will it be a case of let’s not be too open?

To paraphrase BFS, 'we'll have to get back to being more boring'

Exciting times ahead.

Ears still ringing from the stupid park end speakers, came straight from 12 hour night to watch that crap. Why does every manager we have play 2 DM at home to a team we should be winning. Special mention for morgan schniderlin, hate him. Night

I had to walk out after 15 minutes as that noise was really getting to me. As a tinnitus sufferer I feared making it worse.
Went to the pub. Glad I did.

Surely we played 4-1-4-1 yesterday.

Schneiderlin played in front of the back four; McCarthy played in midfield.

If that was the case why not start rooney insted of him, far better with the ball and going foward

There was a case in the second half where Krychowiak, who is far from fast himself, ghosted round Rooney like he wasn't there. I like Rooney in midfield, I want Rooney in midfield, but for a number of reasons, I think it needs to be in a 3. Rooney has some significant drawbacks defensively in a deep role that good teams will expose under our current system.

Those reasons are the lack of mobility and physicality of our centre halves, the lack of discipline of more mobile options like gueye and Davies, the not even arsed mentality of Schneiderlin etc.

I don't think I've ever been as depressed watching the blues as I was yesterday. In 94 and 98 I was more upset, worried and angry. Now all I feel is a horrible sense of acceptance of the inevitable and the sad realisation that this is what the club itself derserves after decades worth of mismanagement. Truth be told we are the worst side in the league and deserve relegation and the only argument i can give for saying it won't happen is that people rarely get what they deserve in this world.:(
