Awful defensively. No physicality at all. Manhandled on the set piece goals. Timid in the tackle.

The other players, even those who played poorly (looking at you, CB's) battered Spurs' players around, played with commitment. Not Gylfi.
Behave yourself.
The two centre halves were miles off their men on every corner....Gylfi is in there on corners purely to bulk numbers up...the key job is for Mina and Keane. Offensively he was outstanding....you clearly are still on the distant boo-boy bandwagon.

Surprised to see Tom leading by such a margin. Yes he was really, really good, but that was one of the best midfield performances I've seen for a number of years by big Doucoure. He was simply outstanding. Tom and indeed Gylfi could've won a MotM in any other game with those performances, but Doucoure, take a bow son.

Come on, mate. I'm no fan of Sigurdsson's but if James scored one and set up 3 you wouldn't be giving him grief for not getting stuck in. Sigurdsson was critical for four out of five of our goals and laid on the winner. If he plays like that every week we'll win a lot more games than we lose.

Everton assistant manager Duncan Ferguson, speaking to BT Sport

Fantastic game, brilliant game. Defences struggled, we struggled a bit in set plays and they struggled in corners. We went 1-0 down and then got back in the game. We played a lot of good football - I started to lose count of the goals.

Couple of good goals, Dominic Calvert-Lewin got the penalty and scored one of his own, Gylfi Sigurdsson was brilliant. There were a lot of good performances on the attacking side. Spurs were putting in some good deliveries, we couldn't deal with them, considering we're a big side, fair play to them they did really well.

It was end to end, great for the fans watching at home. Great for us to go through - we showed a lot of good spirit and then Bernard pops up with the winner so it was a great game.

It was a long night for everyone so the main thing is that we've come away and won it."
