Everton v Sunderland

We need to utterly destroy this lot in the cup game. They're even more affected than us by AFCON with 5 gone and they were terrible against Brighton even though they scraped a draw down there.

We'll be their 5th game in 10 days when they turn up here on 10 January and they'll be struggling more than we will to put a team out.

Destroy them or not. A win is a win, even if its only 1-0. you get through. Scoring a lot means nothing for the next match or the next round as we often show

It eases nerves in a match though.

If we put our best team out and they do under the circumstances we should be winning that every time very handily.

We have nerves even when 3 up you should know that by now  Thinking if we let one in that it will go 3-3 etc

Yes, that's true.

But we really are in a very good position to progress to round 4 and hopefully another home game against lower league opponents.

If we can get our teeth into this tournament we can go far.

Can someone answer a general cup question please?
Season ticket holder who normally phones up to get my 2 cup tickets(mine and my daughter).
I think going forward I’ll try getting them on line even though I hate technology as getting through on the phone is a nightmare these days.
In terms of getting the 2 tickets is it easy to do on line?
I can imagine it being straightforward if I was just getting my own, is it just as straight forward getting 2 or will I have to get my own and my daughter get her own ?

Back in 2009 we only beat Macclesfield 1-0 away, surviving a very late good shot to avoid a replay, and went all the way to the final. 1984 first round of the ECWC was only won by the width of the post against UCD in a 1-0 win at Goodison and we went all the way that year..

I am on the auto cup scheme but my daughter isn’t due to her age and not able to hold a credit card on her account. I can purchase hers on her behalf on line when the window opened. Took 2 mins.

Just make sure your daughter is on your friends and family list and you can manage tickets on her behalf.
