In the few games he has played as the deeper CM, he's made grave mistakes (not like anybody else hasn't, mind).

Obviously the other week he played a bit of a blinder but it's not like he does that every week, a player with the talent surrounding him should be able to play at least to some decency when put on the left.

I seem to remember a couple games, not sure on the opposition, where he tried dribbling the ball out of our own box and further up the pitch only to lose the ball on most of these occasions - and at the time whilst we didn't concede a goal from it, chances were made and the outlook on whether people want him in the centre every game would be different had they scored.

I think Martinez said he wants him to play 100 games to learn more before he plays in the centre, and I understand why.

he's played there twice, was boss both times, if you can't see his talent you should stop with footy
