Seemed to freeze a bit first half which was strange. Spurs dominated first 45 but didn't create anything really. We huffed and puffed 2nd half but lacked quality...think mccarthy did ok...early yellow didnt help him...all in all a draw was a fair result. Two good teams who ultimately lack enough quality to get top 4 i reckon.

how much did spurs pay for soldado? he was ****ing useless, will hopefully get retrospective action and when defoe comes in for him, he won't get his place back. no doubt the ref saw it and was just useless so he'll get away with it though.

if we win at palace that's 10 pts from our last 12, have some perspective lads, we're not going to win every single game, and if you can't win these games, then it's paramount you don't lose them.

barkley and delafoof in for osman and pienaar/mirallas (which one's worse)? for palace i'd like to see. If lukaku isn't fit we shouldn't risk him, should still have enough and then onto the derby where we're going to rip them a new one.

We are only 10 games or so along our development curve, we're still a team in transition. Onwards and upwards.

No surprise Osman was the worst player on the pitch. When will Martinez realise he's ****e starting games?

Referee completely killed the game for me, but very disappointed with our midfield's efforts today.

Too many poor decisions made at key moments throughout the game today, some more guilty than others. A bit more composure would've seen as make much better fist of that imo.

Also, I've never liked Kevin Friend - sh*te referee.

The league has us sussed now.

Get right at us and we can often turn to absolute sh*te in midfield and the final third. Spurs shut us down and proved we really aren't all that when it comes to playing under pressure as we handed them possession time and time again. We need to improve in that department urgently. Every time we got near the final third they put the pressure on and waited for the mistake. Absolute child's play for them.

That's quite a string of games now where we haven't played particularly well. Until we scored at Villa we were poor, Hull could have beaten us on our own patch, City swatted us aside and now Spurs will be kicking themselves for not being better in the final third themselves and taking more from the game. It's all well and good playing a bit of ole football against Villa in stoppage time when we're 2-0 up and they're waiting for the final whistle. We need more from Baines, Pienaar, Mirallas Coleman and Barkley/Osman who are supposed to be supplying that quality all game.

Lukaku was poor overall as well today. Disappointed in him.

Crowd were 12th man in the 2nd half.

Say what you want about the spurs side in terms of the quality but a few lads on the blue side today put in a dire shift.

Hats of to bobby for the subs...very positive.

Not a bad point that. A lot of negativity at Goodison and while we weren't great you've just got to say they're a good side. McCarthy was our best player again and Jagielka/Distin were magnificent distribution aside.
