Will Deulofeu get his chance next week at Palace? Mirallas never done enough to warrant the shirt today and hopefully Martinez will make him work hard to regain it

7 points from our last 3 games, at home to 2 top 10 sides and away to a tricky Villa. Not a bad return but we have to beat Palace next week now.

Whenever there is hope for us, Everton fail...well then...

Hope the lads wake up and smash Palace next week.

we were very good in the 2nd half, just lacking the creation of chances. But def the better team vs a very good Spurs side.

1st half we were awful, aye.
It's all relative mate. after the first half, any improvement was bound to look great. We didn't play well in the 2nd half imo. Just less gash.

Thought we did well to chase the 3 points after an average first half. Our passing in the final third particularly was off, no killer balls through to Baines or Lukaku etc. But Spurs were always dangerous in possession so not a bad result.

MOM was Martinez: useless first 45 but he turned the game in our favour in terms of the attitude they came out with second half and the subs made.

Haven't been able to watch today. Were we rubbish?

first half reminiscent of the hull game in tht we never got started, at the same time all spurs shots came from outside the box, and they didn't have anything that should have gone in, second half we controlled the game without really looking like scoring ever, weather didn't help like, but overall a poor performance vs a good spurs side who are still trying to figure out their best team. Both teams should have had a stone wall pen, coleman did the clipping the legs thing again, but got brought down himeself.

Positive point is vs a good side we played really poorly yet still got a result, so cant be too unhappy at the end of it
