Not too assed about Barkley being dropped to the bench still Atleast with Martinez we know he will be the first one on if osman is having a shocker

Think it's the right call on Barkley. Looks like he might have needed a rest. It'll keep him "hungry" and will let him know he has stiff competition for his place.

Let's also not forget that Osman really was absolute quality when he came on. Barely made a mistake. It was as good a sub performance as I've seen. I'm not worried about having Osman in the number 10 role. It's very different to the centre mid one.

why change a winning side Barkley has done well this season and needs the games some good some
ok but the lad should still be in the first 11, ossie fair enough done well last week but if we lose today
and ossie is sh.t like the old days with moyes, hope i am wrong and ossie scores or plays a blinder
in a win.

To be fair the winning side involved Osman who got a goal and an assist after coming on to win the game.

The modern game is all about handling a squad and Osman is not exactly a poor player, I would understand the outrage if it was Naismith but Osman is a player that suits the Martinez way and especially behind the striker.

Glad to see Eriksen and Glyfi on the bench for them, they should both be starting. Also glad Kaboul doesn't start, as him v Lukaku would've been the toughest match up.

Osman in attacking mid makes sense, he's always played better there than anywhere else, and we need through balls a plenty for Lukaku to run onto, high defensive line and all that.

Barkley and Gerard on the bench looks damn good.

Osman has earned a start

Barkley was poor last week and needs a rest

Martinez showing the squad that if you come off the bench and perform well you will start

Lewis Holtby with his father
Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby speaking to Sky Sports: "My dad flew over from Germany with his mates and he'll be in the Everton end probably shouting at me. As a childhood Everton fan I just can't wait to be out on that field, playing at Goodison Park."

Lewis Holtby has posted a picture of his Everton-supporting Dad on his Facebook page.

Are you sure mate, Seems a bit mad

Gutted Barkley is dropped, Knew this would happen when Osman came on and changed the game, would rather Osman became a super sub, lets hope he justified his place today.
