Watching MOTD recorded from last night.

This is exactly what Lineker said about MOTD2:

"There is also the rather large matter of the first Welsh derby in top flight history as Cardiff host Swansea. Everton - Spurs is the other game."

You couldn't make it up !! :@

I wouldn't read too much into it. After all, he played for both clubs.

Imho Lineker is in Everton's corner but is balancing that position with a 'don't rock the establishment boat' weekly paycheck entitlement. Somewhat lily-livered... but diplomatically (and financially) astute.
Anyway, I would rather be an Everton stealth bomber than a B52 stratofortress lit up like a Christmas tree...a la Chelski, Citeh and Manure. Let's continue to fly beneath the bull**** radar.
Everton is knocking at the monied barbarians gate. Soon we will be battering -ramming it.
And then, to quote Gandalf : "At last we come to to it...the great battle of our time".
Venal, monied crony elitism vs culture and tradition....and class. One is temporary, the other permanent. COYB!!!

On Breakfast this morning, it was 'Spurs would go second today if they win at Everton', completely ignoring the fact that if we won we would also go up to second.

I noticed that and fumed quietly because everyone else were still asleep, had a vice like grip on my cuppa like.

After yesterdays results, this game just got that bit more important. People always say "judge us after 10 games". Will be a pretty sweet looking league table if we can turn these over.

Although BBC Breakfast is now filmed at 'media city' - the BBC have spared no expense in transporting their cringe worthy southern bias up the M6....

If we beat them today - expect all the headlines in tomorrows breakfast sport to be about a boring Welsh derby and another boring F1 win for Vettel
