A few days ago Mina mentioned that he has spoken very little to Benitez since arriving to Liverpool so it doesn't seem Mina may be in his plans either, very puzzling but no surprising.

The moment the lineup is announced I knew it :Having two mentally weak CBs at the back are a disaster waiting to happen. Holgate just a act cool dude with no confident with ball under his feet which he happily get rid of by bombing fwd clueless. Keane, 70% of possession passing back as he has no vision nor skill to dribble or pass fwd. Thought Ferguson would have known better and cued Benitez on this.

Saints haven't done anything to trouble us. We handed them a goal. But this gameplan is playing for 1-0. You can't go behind playing like this.

The first thing to do in solving this is play three in midfield. Rafael doesn't do that it doesn't look like. No combination of 4-2-3-1/4-4-2 is going to work with the midfielders we have.

I don't think Davies is great, but it is so frustrating that he is really the only player who has shown he can do okay as a six and in turn free up our other midfielders.
