All in all, professional performance. Unlike the last round where it looked we thought we only had to turn up and then make heavy weather of it, we made easy pickings of these lot tonight. 3-0 flatters them as we did hit the bar, have a goal disallowed, one cleared off the line, a great fingertip save from their keeper, plenty of good buildup play even if it didn’t always come off and a clean sheet with solid defending to go with it.

Granted it’s a bottom Championship side, but we’ve seen how that’s gone before.

Some good individual performances, but for me, there’s a clear winner for MOTM. James oozed quality everytime he had the ball and completely ran the show in midfield. It seemed like he had a free role and was popping up everywhere on the pitch to collect and play the ball and a role that I think suits him as well as the team, seeing as he’s a player that you want to be on the ball as much as possible. Truly a real joy to watch when he’s on it and hopefully we all get the privilege of seeing him play in the flesh sooner rather than later, as he’s worth the ticket price alone when he gets going.
