Also I know we're skint but we do literally only have one football?

Like the amount of times the game stopped while we waited for the ball to come back, can we not afford two?

Not allowed that multi ball business any more.

You're only allowed to get a new one on if it goes out of the ground. There was one point where the ball went in the camera man's little cage thing today and I was like FFS!

Had to record the already delayed match today due to family stuff so didn't get to watch until this afternoon.

Thrilled with how the team played.

1) Anichebe was my man of the match.

2) Gibson was outstanding and could have been my man of the match

3) Great save by Howard on Remy

4) Mirallas dangerous as usual

5) Great link up play again by Baines & Pienaar.

Overall, some strong momentum heading into the Emirates where, I believe, we can get all three points.

In that first half we were playing the way we were at the beginning of the season. Completely dominant and some flashy stuff. Great game from Coleman and Vic (so glad to see him score) but Gibson was superb with the way he moved the ball around and some great tackles. Looks like Baines and Pienaar are getting back to form just in time. I'm just really chuffed with this performance, the boys did well!

It will be even duller to read after the game finished lid. I'll lash the Arsenal one up on Monday, read that instead like.

it's like a literary self flaggelation.........i deserve it. I've been bad.
:@

you know freedom from the gulag don't come free.

thought Fellaini looked a bit lost at times yesterday, it's as if we'd learned to play without him in the past 2 games. Similarly Mirallas wasn't so effective and it got quite crowded on the left regularly. I'm wondering if switching Felli to the inside right track (assuming we play him in an advanced role) and having him link up with Coleman and Mirallas, whilst Osman (who also gravitates to the left more than right) links with Pienaar and Baines on the left may be a tactical variation worth trying.

Fellani seems to be getting disinterested playing an advanced role. With Mirallas on fire as an attacker (and not really cut out as a defender) I think we can afford to play Fellani more as a deep lying DM. It would allow Osman and Gibson (who I thought was excellent going forward yesterday) to play a more advanced role.

Fellaini deeper I reckon. Can't see the point of playing Osman if he isn't around the edge of the box. Haven't seen Pienaar and Mirallas have a consistently dangerous game together. Not sure if this needs resolving or whether we should just enjoy the fact that at least one of them will be running at defenders

Moyes said something on local radio interview about him not feeling quite right as well as Gibsons thigh restricting his play a bit. Like you I think Fellaini would rather be at the heart of the action in midfield and I think osman needs a rest so I would drop fellaini back. Take pick of mirallas or jela with anichebe. If mirallas, Ross B right mid

Gibson's play was restricted? Sh it . get him fully fit we have the bargain of the century
