Been a long time follower of GoT & esp. the incredible previews by Chico.
However, I am so frustrated & disappointed with that performance that I have decided to create an account and share my tuppence worth..(in no order)
To Moyles,
1) It is apparent to everyone in the stadium that Hitz clearly isn't fit enough to last the whole 90 minute. Why recall Barkley back from loan if you're not going to play him? I don't expect Ross to start but surely we can afford him 15-20 minutes at the end.
2) Pienaar needs to be dropped when Mirallas returns. Not sure if it's complacency, a lack of form or both but Oviedo has proved that he's more than capable to fill in. Play well or sit on the bench, simple. They're earning what I earn a year in the space of a week and if I performed in that manner at work I would expect the sack.
3) What exactly does Duffy need to do to deserve a start? Heitinga looks half the player of last season & as much as I love Distin and hate to admit, he's becoming a liability. Sylvain offers nothing apart from his pace & height. If that's the criteria then I might send my boy for trials. He's 6 ft 5 and can do the 100 in 11 secs flat. ****ehawk of a footballer but wouldn't go amiss in our current defence.
4) Howard. Take a leaf from United's book and give him set-pieces training like they did with De Gea. He should've swallowed that ball by Garrido before it even reached the back post.
5) What the actual [Poor language removed] is being said to the lads at half-time? We've utterly dominated the first half in the last two games, gone into the dressers and come out looking like my old man & his uncontrollable bowel.
These are just some of my concerns. I love Everton to bits and will still wake up at 4 am this week but I hope we sort it out & show Arteta what he's missing.
