I don't know what game you're watching but Kone is essential to every attacking move. He holds the ball up and controls it, has some good pace and takes pressure off Lukaku.

Wow, now I never thought I'd say that.

A completely different game to you then i guess

Barkley and Lukaku have been our attacking threat, Kone has linked up well when involved but offered nothing down the left which is being picked up by the majority of people. The one time Kone was out left in an attack we had a goal disallowed.

Not blaming Kone but hes the odd man out this game, struggling to help enough defensively (compared to Cleverley who is working perfectly with Coleman) and is drifting too much in attack, its fine to drift but we have barely gone the left side once because there is no option and Galloway was having to focus on the defensive side of the game let alone consider providing an option high up on the left.

Are people really slagging off Kone, a forward, that he doesn't come back EVEN more to help the left back?

Is everyone David Moyes all of a sudden? Kone's done all he could and actually took the ball off them successfully a few times ffs!

.....it's the occasions he's not there that creates the problem. It's difficult because he's cutting inside to support Lukaku. There is no out ball on the left, just think how often Baines picks it up in those areas.

I think Kone has covered a lot of ground, ok he has lost the ball but other players have as well. It's tough playing against a team with their qualities and pace going forward. We are doing ok and we are creating chances of our own too, we are definitely in this game.

Galloway left strung out to die by Kone and co. Disappointing the lack of support given to the clearly struggling young lad.

World of difference on the other side. Cleverley offering far more support for Coleman.

Wouldn't be surprised if young Galloways problem is more psychological hence wanting off the field!

Mirallas would offer more support than Kone going back.

Kone is not a defender and has been doing pretty good work distrubiting in the attacking end. They way we are set up we are always going to be exposed on that side. Probably wasn't wise to leave Galloway all alone as it could have easily went coleman vs. Besitakas but you gotta take chances somewhere unless you want to sit 9 back and play for 0-0 draw.

The disallowed goal came from the left...
