I just can't stand the pundits yelling and screaming about zonal marking every time a goal goes in but when someone gets bullied by their man, man marking is never at fault. Example being Kane's goal on Monday. He out jumps Phil Jones but no one goes on about how the system failed even though that is what happened.

Seeing as Huddersfield are playing so deep, I’d get Lookman on left hand side for Davies and push DCL up top in a 4-4-2.

Get balls wide and into the box (Digne from the left, Walcott from the right).

Then once we take the lead, take off one of the strikers for Dowell and revert back to 4-2-3-1 and try to retain possession again, but with more space to play in as Huddersfield come out.

Delighted for Digne and DCL linking up again to produce a goal.

Disappointed to concede yet another goal from a set piece; but equally understand that it takes time for these things to come to fruition, especially with a constantly changing lineup due to injuries.

Zouma has looked quality (and rapid!) and Holgate has won almost all of his aerial 50/50’s.

What I've seen in analysis makes it seem debatable whether he will help things. Honestly the best suited for moving the ball forward in a game like this might be... Dowell.
