I said it was a big call for silva to pick Digne over Baines, but to me it it the right change. Hopefully this sends a message to the whole squad, no one is indispensable. When you consider the number of injured or suspended players unavailable to us today, then all the players need to be on their game today or fear getting dropped. Just as it should be.

Helps that Digne was MOTM last time out.

At least this time around we know that bench/ team isn't a permanent situation as we have Keane, Gueye, Mina, Jags, Richarlison, Gomes and Bernard on the sidelines through injury or suspension.

Objectively the best 11 players we have left and likely smart decisions starting Digne over Baines and DCL (fit, 2 goals last game) over Lookman (not yet fit)

Still think Davies and Schneiderlin with DCL on the wing is a disaster waiting to happen but we'll see. Would have liked to see Dowell instead of Davies or Lookman instead of DCL.
