Hi guys. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I'll have a go anyway. I'm sure someone will tell me if it's wrong. Anyway, a number of us Palace fans are travelling over from North Yorkshire later today and I'm asking about a decent parking area where we'll be able to get away without to much fuss with traffic etc...
I've heard from others that there's approximately 1,700 coming over from all over the country. God I hope the guy with the drum doesn't turn up again lol.
Well I wish you all the best for the season except tonight. Forecast a rare away win for the Eagles 2-1. Ince and Murray to score for us. It'll be a belter anyway. Cheers fellas.

Just down from the junction of Priory Road and Utting Avenue (which is about 3/4 of a mile SW of Goodison Park,) entrance on Utting Avenue, there is a stewarded car park for £8. Stewards stay to the end and supervise the exits so that it's not a free for all. If you look on google satellite it appears to be a school yard. the school is now gone and its just a parking lot.

Thanks Alan. Great article by the way. Rumour going on the Holmesdale site that there is a possibility of the game being called off due to weather conditions. You heard anything mate.

They will play if they can. Pitch will be covered so surface will be ok. Winds will be the issue. If it's going to get called off I think that it will be quite a late decision and based on health and safety considerations. Safe trip.

Got a bit of a soft spot for Palace me, when I lived in London and couldn't get to Goodison much I went down there a few times with my Aunite (who's a big Palace fan). Decent little ground, decent atmosphere and fairly decent fans. Been impressed with what's been done there in recent weeks but not surprised, Pulis and his cap was always going to add that bit of steel. Why does he dress like he's been given £100's worth of vouchers for the club shop though?

Can't see us breaking Palace down tonight, if we do, it won't be by many.

Decided not to travel at 3.00pm. Felt sure that the M6, especially around the Thelwall Viaduct would be mental. It was bad then and all the forecasts said it was going to get worse. To leave it so late was poor.Personally happy as I made a good call but I hope all eagles and all blues have a safe journey home.

Darn it, our cunning plan failed..

First away game was a 2-0 away defeat at Palace on Grand National day 1992. Era of Wright/Bright/Thomas/Salako etc.

When I lived in the area I often used to go and watch Palace.

Always quite liked them.
