....you can knock the ball 50 yards and it comes straight back again. It's much tougher to get the ball down and try and keep possession. The best players try and play, the best players make the hard things look easy and Ozzie is one of them. Gibbo and Barry fit probably means the little fella wont play but don't underestimate what a player he is.

Hmmm, I'm tempted to give Mikel the benefit of the doubt as he didn't really move and looked like he was putting his hands up to protect himself.

Luiz though was the last man and committed a deliberate foul, which should equal a red I think.

Fair play to Ossie, thought he had a good game today after a few wobbles initially. I don't think he fits in a midfield 2 though personally as he is not great off the ball.

Can't wait for west ham next week,the prospect of seeing McCarthy,Mirallas,Barry and Lakau tear them a new one.
Relegation, conceding shed loads of goals ?
Where are those doom mongers today ?
 
Having meditated on that game again, Jelavic off McCarthy on, Mirallas up front was such a brilliant sub it makes me want to rethink my opposition to Martinez a bit.

3 clean sheets out of 4 is that. Very encouraging. There was a nice little cameo from Deulofeu too. Hopefully we'll start to see more of him.

We got a much better hold of the game when he made that change. I was surprised at how well Mirallas held the ball up, it was a much better performance from him today.

We brought on a defender in stoppage time today as well. We also barely entered there half for 15 minutes after the break, let alone attacked.

Moyes has gone let it go. If you really want to compare managers then wait until the end of the season rather than deciding on one game.
