Everton transfers that seemed *done*

How about his goal scoring record at Crewe & other clubs ? -

Dean Ashton was a prolific striker whose career was cut short by injury at age 26. He scored over 90 domestic goals in 248+ appearances, most notably 61 for Crewe Alexandra, 17 for Norwich City, and 15 for West Ham United (all stats). He earned one England cap, playing 45 minutes against Trinidad & Tobago.
It was only a present for you Joseph, no need to come at me with AI

Genuinely can't stop laughing at Leo Ferdinand

Thats absolute genius from @Joey66 and if you say it in either Les or Rio's voice it sounds like youre saying the other ones name hahaha

The present would have been signing him for £1 Million many many seasons ago - & not going for Jimmy can't score Beattie.... :D

DM certainly knows a good Striker = Not ....

I remember when he was highly rated and we were linked.

Crazy we didnt go for him at the time and many other clubs were thinking the same thing later im sure.

His issue was the serious (knee?) Injury he suffered which led to his retirement.

He would have scored more than 3 pens though :D

Great player but we possibly dodged a bullet there, not that long after his failed move he managed to run himself over with his own car whilst in a tired and emotional state. It was reported here in Valencia that he called off the move because Moyes had been reported as saying he was interested in looking at him. Banega whoever saw himself as being the first name on the team sheet.
