The Wilshere deal is an interesting one.
Has this happened before? Wonder what percentage of his outstanding contract they settled on?

Could set a new president.
We’ve all known for decades that football finance is out of control, unsustainable, lunacy etc.. this pandemic may well be the final straw for a lot of clubs, here & worldwide..

A few clubs with billionaire owners still splashing cash, but the market for players on big contracts on the way down will be severely limited.

How many Championship clubs could pay even half of what Tosun, Bolasie & Besic will be on?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see players pushing for termination settlements now & taking their chances as free agents.

Still think we could end up with 26 or 27 players in the squad. Some will definitely still go like Beni, Pennington, Connolly and one of Virginia or Lossl as well as Bolasie and Besic even. Get rid of those and get in someone like King or Brooks and we’d be sorted. If we’ve shifted a lot of wages I’d actually go for Sarr, Watford showed they want to sell him they just want the right price.

Shame Branthwaite is still injured it’d be ideal to send him out on loan now that we’re well covered at CB, hope his development won’t be stunted by less game time.
He will probably go on loan in Jan
We could send him out on loan now and just keep him here and pay his wages till he is fully fit and then let him leave

Feel this would've been the perfect window had we also got a backup ST in, but as it stands we're looking healthy.

Could be just a case of we're looking at the January window for the striker? see how we get on for now. It's only under 90 days away weirdly.

Still need a striker. Must be someone from Championship coming in, otherwise releasing Kean makes no sense.

I cant see us landing one unless we can offload Tosun. Maybe thats what we are waiting for I dont know.

Either way its crazy how people were crying out for another CB when we have 4 just because 2 are injured when atm we have DCL and a bloke still not 100% fit who we also know isn't good enough to cover him if he gets injured.

A back up forward has to be brought in imo King would fit the bill.

There's better balance to the squad than there was a couple of years ago, but wide positions are overloaded and we look light in attack if we get an injury

You'd like to think we could still hopefully trim the squad over the next week or two with Bolasie, Besic and Lossl - maybe even a Branthwaite loan?

Also, if Gbamin ever gets fit we are a bit heavy on centre mid - makes me wonder if we could have afforded to let Davies or Delph go

So we still have time to do deals nationally, until 16th, I expect there to be a few out; Lossl, Besic, Beningame and Bolasie.

Think we need at least 1 in, King or Brooks from Bournemouth would be beneficial for the squad, with playing lots of games close together, there are going to be injuries and we look a bit light upfront

Think we have done good work getting Sandro out

So what’s with the big deal made on sky n all with super dipper deadline day then

We must destroy spurs and united this season for being bitter and denying two good lads to get on with their careers on spite.
