I can't see us spending money on a keeper this window other than a nominal loan fee. There's no way we're getting a long term replacement for Pickford at such short notice, just somebody to offer competition.

Whoever we bring in , and it's looking increasingly unlikely that we'll bring in anybody, Pickford will still be our number 1. If he continues to make mistakes then we're just going to have to play Lossl and see how he does.

We aren’t gonna challenge for the league anyway, we’ve had a dream start but let’s not get carried away. The target is European football and I don’t want us sticking more crabs on 150k a week for the next 4 years just coz we have had a good start.
