I would prefer to Sign somebody younger than Zaha and somebody whose natural position is on the right (even though Zaha did play there at times against Utd) . However if Zaha was signed he would certainly go straight into the team with JR going central and Gomes probably dropping out. Zaha is a fine player and a real attacking threat.

Zaha appears at his best when he has full freedom to roam around the pitch. We already have one of those with JR. Add Zaha and we are going to struggle with the balance. As good as JR is and as much as I have have enjoyed watching him it is clear there is a trade off where we are more vulnerable down the right side to accommodate his creative genius going forwards. So far it has paid Dividends but if we were to add another free spirit like Zaha we could get badly exposed defensively

I don’t think there is any chance whatsoever that we get Zaha. If he wanted a big move he was stupid to sign a long term contract, he should have known they would price everyone out. However I genuinely would put a £40m bid in this week. It might turn his head and disrupt his performance for the game, especially when they knock it back and say he won’t be sold

No one will pay that in the current climate. £25m and a couple of millions adds on take it or leave it. It’s his last chance to move and the last chance for Palace to sell for decent money.

Ive always thought Romagnoli from Milan would be perfect in the premier league.

Again though, no one has said Richarlison is 'world class'. Ive said hes close to world class "at what he does".

Barcelona: €120mil for a now 29 year old Griezmann or the same price for 23 year old Richarlison?

I wouldnt see him at PSG ahead of Neymar, Mbappe or Icardi. But i wouldnt be surprised to see PSG bid for him if Mbappe was sold.

Valuation: This is a tricky one as Felix was bought on potential. Griezmann/Hazard signed at 28. You can add on the 'Brazilian factor' and Richarlison being a unique type of player at 23 playing for a club on the rise under one of the worlds best managers.

For me, Id say £120-150mil.

Current ability + potential ability + marketing + Brazilian...if he continues improving and can hit 20 goals then its going to be a big fee if he does move.

I don’t see how he would fetch more than what mbappe went for . If someone bid 120 for him he’s be gone the next day

I could never take the players to heart recently, as the moment a Man U or Chelsea came calling, the player would want out.

The perfect mix of ambitious owners / world class manager / world class player

Agree with most. But Nkounkou is all.left foot. Think he could play every position down that left side. Got it all, great left foot,. Very tricky and very athletic. Just not sure about playing him as a right side player

I meant a right footed version of him. Totally agree though, early days because - Luke Garbutt, but he does look like he's solved our left back issue until we sell Digne to PSG for 75m or whatever

We need Sigurdsson, Bernard, Kenny and either one of Walcott or Bolaise. Rotation will be more important this season than others with the congested fixtures.

I get your point though of course. Endless muck in our squad list.

I do think Sigurdsson will surprise people this season though. He reminds me of those specialist kickers that come on for 5 seconds in American Football. Get the right midfield around him and let him ping passes, crosses and shots around.

I'd miss Bernard for those beautiful bits of magic he can offer. I'd also miss Kenny and Bamingime as I'd love to see them have time to develop and push for a place in the first team.

However we have to replace them all really.
