Gelson Martins could fit the bill, portuguese rw scores goals can play rb also lw and up front in trouble at monaco for hitting the ref would fit bill and give us more snide in the team. Was tipped as worldie only couple years back and is only 24/25.

Our next transfer will be really interesting. By all accounts we're snookered by FFP. If we bring in a good player for actual money we'll clearly be giving two fingers to FFP and/or getting a shoelace sponsor from Uncle Uzzie.

If we get another player of similar quality to what we've signed already, we're obviously not content to hang around in competing for top 6.

It's that right side really, if we get a quality right winger and right back we'd be a really exciting team and could do a Leicester of last season - it's not like their team is miles ahead of ours now.

Realistically we have three obvious areas of improvement - right wing, right back, and competition for Pickford.

It's obvious that Ancelotti wants to compete NOW, rather than in two or three years. Getting rid of the above and replacing with three would leave us with a big enough squad with a perfect balance of quality/experience/potential.

They've already shown how ruthless they want to be by replacing the entire midfield - if we want to get anywhere we'll need to be ruthless elsewhere too.

Silva is in shambles right now poor guy.
