..I guess he's useless. Funny how in the summer we were linked with a host of CBs, this time around it's forwards. The link with the Swiss youngster appears very strong so he could've been lined up for a while as Naismith's replacement. Be good to get that one done early but I've not seen any mention of a fee.

....Daily Mail now linking us with Reading striker Nick Blackman. Contract up this summer and Everton and Derby interested.

I watched him play just before we played them in the cup and he stood out as their best player by far. Fast and suited to counter attacking football. Huge step up though.

Just looked him up, if it's the one I've seen he's a 19 year old keeper playing in Ligue 2. Seems like a completely useless signing for us.

I wouldn't write him off too quickly Mahrez was playing in Ligue 2 18 months again

Not really writing him off so much as thinking Martinez isn't going to drop Howard for a goalkeeper from Ligue 2. He'll most likely go into our U21s.
