Everton to contact Liverpool over fan complaints.

Club Statement
We are aware of a significant number of complaints regarding queue management from supporters waiting to enter Anfield at last night's derby match.

The Club will make contact with Liverpool Football Club to raise these matters.

HAHAHA WE'LL BEAT THEM IN THE BOARDROOM!

Ha, they can stick their coin-throwing whinging where the sun doesn't shine.

The management of our fans in that shambles of a stadium was a disgrace last night.

I saw one coin thrown on tv and one tiny white object. Not sure how this has turned into tons of out fans throwing coins... Unless the people saying so were actually there to witness it, in which case fair enough

Think you need a new TV mate, there was a lot more than one coin thrown.

This is a bit cringe worthy considering many of our fans were throwing coins like utter melts.

How is it cringe worthy you whopper

Have you seen the video from last night, There was kids getting crushed against a wall ffs

Highlighting an error on the police/stewards part is not cringe worthy its trying to stop it happening again

Everton fan Rebecca Martin, 41, said there were only a handful of turnstiles open for the away seating at the Anfield Road end, causing bottlenecks before kick-off.

She said: “The queues were massive, but more and more people were arriving and the police were doing nothing to hold them back.

“New arrivals started pouring in from the sides, pushing and pushing people against the wall to the left. There was nowhere for them to go, and the police were doing nothing.

“It was chaos. People were getting angry and frightened. It had the potential to turn nasty; we were certainly getting physically crushed.

“The younger ones were particularly scared. It seemed like there were more and more people coming at us and nowhere to get out."

Aye. There's two seperate issues here: the queue management and the coin-throwing. Both need to be looked at and dealt with so they don't happen again.
