Everybody makes mistakes but we’ve done it as almost a default setting. Andy Carroll and bale at Spurs were about 10 years ago since which we’ve bought probably 20 odd duds which is incredible. I’m not saying nobody has ever done as badly as we have but it’s not the case that everybody does it we’ve definitely been one of the worst in the market the last 5 years or so.

They were examples off the top of my head. Nbombele for £54m or Naby Keita for £54m if you want to go more recent.
