Anyone else form their opinion of otherwise unknown players based on which GOTers are for or against signing them??
Clear to see who has never watched certain players that they bang on about.

some posters that watch a lot of certain leagues ie bundesliga and ligue 1 you can tell know their stuff, likewise a few of the youth team thread posters I’d trust recommendations from them as some knowledgeable guys in it.

McNeil is a quality young exciting player but he a pure leftie, he can play Central or on the left, now we need someone who McNeil but a natural on the right side unless we are selling Richy who is wasted on the left

What is Townsand and Gray best position

Absolutely no way Burnley are selling McNeil for 20-25 million. He’s their crown jewel and one big asset. They’d be looking at 40 million plus which for them is what he’s worth like for us richarlison is worth 60 mill plus, or they’ve said Calvert lewin way more than that but to no one else they would be.

Other than the stadium Moshiri has pretty much made a pigs ear of this club, we are now further away from the top or European places than when he came in all whilst spending 1/2 billion quid.......

I think you`ll find that is....... EVERTON THAT!!!!

Now we are on to buying Poundland players who dont improve us....
Last season we were challenging for a top six position right up to the last couple of weekswe were on the peripheral of CL all season and lost out because we could not beat bad teams at home.

We really are not that far away

Context is straightforward...

Moshiri believes that we should be "challenging at the top of the league" based on a £55mil net spend and apparently we "built a squad" for Ancelotti...

I dont believe either are realistic statements by any stretch of the imagination.
Moshiri might have been great at whatever he did to make money but he's a buffoon at running a football club. It's comically bad now.

Last year we were easily at the top of the winning despite not playing well charts. Usually that catches up to you and that's why we fell off. And we're a long way from playing good football consistently.
