We're not getting Bailey.

My guess is, assuming we clear a bit off the books (Bernie and Gomes leaving likely does the trick), we will get whomever is cheapest out of McNeil/Bailey/Chukwueze. If the price for all is over 30m then we may well look elsewhere. I think we have 50 to spend to bring in an RB and winger.

B - More likely, but we haven't approached them yet and the feeling is they could price us out of a deal.
C - No chance. They want over 70 million, unless Richarlison goes, it's a non starter.
D - More likely to get a loan deal, but we are looking at improving other areas now.

You can't get behind players at all unless they are dossers who haven't kicked a ball for Everton yet (and in the case of Gray has hardly kicked a ball in anger in years) and were signed by your koppite hero. You'll turn against them all in time, it is your way.

Its going to kill you when Benitez has us playing solid football with good honest pros but ultimately thats the way forward.

We have been a joke for years thanks to suspect managers and lazy disinterested players too scared to break a sweat.

That changes this season should the manager be backed adequately enough.
