As far as a conventional striker is concerned, i suspect the whole window has been down to whether Broja can be acquired in these last few hours.

its a nonsensical strategy but the only one I can think of.

My fear with Broja is Chelsea would try to tie it to a future move for Gordon. Otherwise him on loan would be solid.

Too bad the Joao Pedro deal didn't work. Think he would have been just the thing.
