I think there are lots of signs of activity, but important not to make a poor decision here, we don’t want a ball and chain.

It feels like Gordon and Dele are moving on with two or three forwards coming in to replace them.

I'd take Diaz over Rondon. Seriously, we have 1 fit striker and we have been linked with some absolute dross from the premier league. At least this lad knows where the goal is. We could do much worse than Diaz (and probably will).

I've watched him and am just not convinced he'd cut it in the prem, seems flat footed as well....this is only my extremely humble opinion though, kind sir.

This is my concern. Has got something of the Niasse about his dribbling. Tends to sort of overrun it and then just bounces through people. A lot of scrappy goals that he wouldn't get in the PL, also not very fast.

However, he has plenty of pluses too, is young and has improved a lot over the last two years, so who knows.
