I wouldn’t be touching Gueye personally.

Too much baggage nowadays, and his age isn’t really a progressive signing.

Just think it’d be bad all round for us, personally.

Don’t think my opinion counts mind, if he’s available for nothing.
I think he'd be really unhappy if you touched him. Unless you're female of course.
 
I seem to remember reading somewhere that they would be targeting players from English sides in Pl and Championship. It was viewed as less risky this window?

Our signings from outside England have been more miss than hit I think.
The ‘from outside England’ bit is completely superfluous in that sentence though.
 

Less risky for the past 30 years then if that's the case.

Depends how you look at it I guess , also other clubs seem just fine at finding the talent, even the misses still seem to hold value except at us.
I agree entirely I’m sure I remember reading about the change in tack though.
 
Barkley is desperation for me we clearly can't afford a more creative player but he is better than what we have which is an indictment of our recruitment. Gana on loan is a stop gap
