We'd need to sell ALL the expendable parts of the squad... Keane, Mina, Gomes, Gbamin, Rondon, Allan would all need to go within the next three weeks, just to raise the funds and clear the salary space.

We say Mina is expendable, he wasn't last season, the difference in him playing or not was probably the greatest difference of any player in the league. Who missed more than a few games

Yup Gomes is effectively unsellable in reality - best we can do is actually get a loan fee in which offsets his yearly expense

Thats literally insane...the only logical reason for that would be if 50% was then going to Gomes as a payoff.

£8m is about his book value. Can't see us accepting an accounting loss on him given the state of our books

Most likely outcome is a loan I would imagine
