Difficulty in that one Dave is Patterson agreeing to the move and them satisfying him re wage demands which I would imagine to be unlikely? don't see many swap deals these days!!

It worked out for his compatriot Hickey. If the clubs could come to some agreement with maybe Everton paying part of his wages Verona would be getting a player we paid £16M for in exchange for one they paid about £1.5M for.

I'm just trying to think laterally here as the lad is about as useful as a chocolate teapot for us. Maybe he can resurrect his career in Italy?

Not to take us too far off topic but Barca are absolute losers now. One of the most entitled clubs in Europe who still can't sort themselves out even with La Liga bending over backwards for them. They're a club that thinks they have a divine right to success.
